For more than four decades, Dr. Guirguis has combined art, science, and technology to create healthy, confident smiles. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Alexandria in 1983, then completed a rigorous residency and a master's program in restorative dentistry, endodontics, and fixed prosthodontics.

Early in his career, Dr. Guirguis served as a consultant in restorative dentistry in the Gulf region, where he embraced emerging digital and cosmetic techniques. During his 14 years abroad he also immersed himself in implantology—mastering both the surgical and prosthetic phases of care.

After graduating from international programs at the University of California, San Francisco and the University of the Pacific, Dr. Guirguis became a managing dentist for multiple Western Dental offices, where he treated thousands of patients and mentored young clinicians. Ultimately, he channeled this breadth of experience into his own practice, acquiring a long-standing Vallejo office and launching MAK Dental, a patient-centered practice known for state-of-the-art technology and meticulous craftsmanship.

Dr. Guirguis is a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists and an active member of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, SOIC, the California Dental Association, and the Contra Costa Dental Society. He also holds a U.S. patent for a novel technique that restores implants placed in close proximity—a method published in the Journal of Oral Implantology.

Outside the operatory, Dr. Guirguis and his wife, Nevein, stay busy raising their son and daughter. He relaxes by playing bass guitar alongside his son on drums, cheering on their favorite soccer teams, and sketching—an artistic passion that sharpens the keen eye he brings to every smile he designs.

Dr. Patricia Bezad earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston and brings over two decades of clinical experience to her practice. She has worked in major dental corporations as both an associate and managing dentist, combining strong leadership with advanced clinical expertise.

Since 2012, she has placed over 2,000 dental implants and delivered more than 10,000 removable prosthetics, many stabilized with implants. Dr. Bezad is highly experienced in dental surgery, including wisdom tooth extractions, oral surgery, periodontal procedures, and emergency dental care. She has completed over 1,000 hours of continuing education, with extensive training in cosmetic dentistry, implantology, and occlusion design.
